Today while riding I noticed a few times when my steering wheel felt like it was kind of stuck. Noticed it mainly when stopped and turning the wheel to the right. I have the power steering and I'm not sure if the power steering just quit working for a little bit and then kicked back in or if it's something else. It feels more mechanical and if I put more effort into it there was a clunk and it seemed to work ok. I got home and cleaned it up and while it was running and sitting still in the garage it did it several times when turning the wheel from straight ahead then to the right, again hearing that clunk then working fine. I didn't notice the power steering light coming on and forgot about checking the voltage for a surge, I've read the voltage regulator could mess with it. I did a search and didn't come up with anything, any ideas? I did just replace a cv boot on the right front axle but don't think that would have anything to do with an intermittent issue like this. Also, I have not had the recall done yet, waiting on parts, so it's the original voltage regulator and the machine has about 450 miles on it.
